Achievements == Everything?
A moment ago, I was still thinking of what I should post in my blog. It seems that it has been a long time since I last posted something up here. So, since I am about to get my Diploma in another 11 days time, I just came up with this topic:
"Achievements == Everything?"
If you have not gotten a clue from my topic, basically I will be discussing about whether getting some achievements in school, or perhaps work, will just mean everything...
If you are a parent, and if your kid(s) did very well in school, regardless of academic or non-academic achievements, you will be very glad, and will be very proud of your kid(s). Telling how great your kid(s) has/have been doing in school to your neighbours, your friends, your colleagues.
Alright, parents aside, because I am not a parent, and hence I do not have any right to comment on that...
But as I am a student as well as a child, erm...my parent's child, not that I am still a child... I will tell you my point of view as a student/child instead.
What does achievements means?
Academic achievement revealed by tests, not corresponding to our own ability?
Well, I am not sure about this definition on the internet... But here is what achievements means to me, myself...
Achievements means achieving something in life, in school and etc. Alright, that's crap.
Ok... Achievements to me doesn't really mean anything to me... And hence Achievements != Everything. If Achievements == Everything, then I suppose that's the end of your life. Because if you think that achieving something means everything to you, you will always hope to achieve something, and if you did not achieve what you wanted to achieve, you will feel very miserable. So, your mindset cannot be set to Achievements == Everything.
So achievement to me, actually means making people happy. And if people are happy, I myself will be happy too. ^.^
So... When I achieve something, it is not actually for myself, but it is for everyone. For those who dote on me, for those who look upon me (correct me if I am wrong, I wanted to say the opposite of look down on me), and for those who care about me, about my studies, and everything else.
Not sure if it sounds sensible to you or not, but that sounds quite alright to me...
Perhaps I just wanted to post something up, with really nothing else to talk about, but to talk nonsense... Haha.
Alright, I am not sure if I have really touched anyone with my achievements for the past 3 years... But I do hope that everyone I know, especially my old folks at home will feel proud of me... After all, these 3 years... Everything is not so easy...
------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
P.S. Pardon me for my non-sensible post (should it be considered as one)... Haha. Pardon me for my poor English... Hahaha. And pardon me for my non-logical thinking (should it be the case)... LOLx
